The first day of this 2 days in Nafplio itinerary belongs entirely to the town. Don’t try to add Mycenae or Epidaurus today. Nafplio deserves a full day without competition from ancient sites.

Specifically, the restaurants on Staikopoulou serve better quality Greek food than the harbor-facing spots, which charge a premium for the sea view.
Accordingly, eat on Staikopoulou and walk the waterfront for a drink afterward. That’s the correct order.

Morning: Mycenae
